This microwave sensor motion detector supplies a simple energy saving solution to use light only when and where you need it. It automatically switches on/off light based on motion and ambient light level. Can control all kinds of lamps, for example, halogen, fluorescent and LED lights. Compact size and small casing make it easy to install within most light fixtures. The 5-pole press-in terminal(L,N,P, N’,L’) offers a more organized and flexible wiring diagram.

The high quality relay is particularly suitable for commercial use with switching power up to 1200w@220VAC for LED lighting. Additionally, it offers the option for master-slave group control.

Microwave Sensor Switch with DIP Switch:

Hold-time: Hold-time means the time period to keep the lamp on 100% after motion detected.

Daylight threhold: Daylight sensor means the daylight threshold to enable or disable the sensor function.

“Disable”:The sensor works always, even during daylight.

“100lux”:The sensor works only in twilight.

“20lux,5lux”: The sensor works only in the dark.

Detection range: Detection range can be reduced by selecting the combination on the DIP switches to fit precisely each application.

A. Master/Slave Group Control ( Corridor Function)

Master/Slave Group Control is allows for efficient and simultaneous lighting control of multiple lighting fixtures or devices. This arduino radar technology enhances automation and energy efficiency in various settings, such as commercial buildings etc. In this system, one sensor is designated as the “Master sensors,” which serves as the central controller for the group, while the other sensors are “Slave sensors” that follow the commands and settings of the Master sensors, ensuring uniform lighting behavior across the entire controlled area.

C. DALI Lighting Control

DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) lighting control, when combined with microwave occupancy sensors in LED lighting systems, offers a sophisticated and adaptable solution that revolutionizes the way we manage and control luminaires. DALI is a standardized protocol that provides precise control over individual lighting fixtures or groups of fixtures. Currently, our YW101 doppler radar motion sensor has been updated to DALI-2 version.

DALI allows for granular control of lighting, enabling each fixture to be individually addressed and adjusted. When motion is detected by the microwave presence detector, it can send signals through the DALI network to dim, brighten, or turn on/off specific lights in response to changing occupancy or ambient light levels. D. Daylight Harvesting (Constant Lux)

Daylight harvesting is an innovative approach to leverages the availability of natural daylight to intelligently adjust artificial lighting levels in response to changing ambient light conditions. Microwave doppler sensors are equipped to detect both motion and ambient light levels. When combined with daylight harvesting capabilities, they allow LED lighting systems to adapt in real-time. As natural light from windows or skylights varies throughout the day, the microwave motion detector sensors continuously assess the available daylight. If the microwave doppler motion sensor detects sufficient natural light, it can automatically dim or even turn off the artificial LED lighting to save energy.

F. No Back Detection (180° Detection)

The default setting for doppler radar microwave motion sensors is a 360° Detection Range, although some clients may request a 180° Detection Range. This high frequency microwave technology is designed to prevent unnecessary activation of lighting due to motion detected from the rear of the sensor. For instance, in scenarios like wall-mounted luminaires in the hallways or corridors,false activations can occur when motion is sensed from the sensor’s rear, leading to unwanted illumination, especially in spaces where this isn’t desired. No Back Detection in microwave motion sensors addresses this issue by focusing on motion detection primarily in the intended direction, which is the area in front of the microwave doppler radar motion sensor.

G. Absence Presence Detection ( Vacancy Sensing Detection)
