What is Microwave Motion Sensor?
Microwave motion sensors are also known as microwave radar occupancy switches, high frequency presence detectors, microwave movement detectors, doppler vacancy detectors or human body induction hf detector light switch. Microwave presence detectors sense the microwave movement changes, which emitting doppler radar microwave signals at a high frequency and detect if there is any movement in the detection zone at 360 degree. By integrating microwave motion sensors into LED lighting systems, a more environmentally friendly solution can be achieved. These sensors utilize microwave technology to detect motion, allowing the lighting system to adjust brightness levels dynamically based on occupancy. It’s suitabele for usage in a large area, security places and hot environment as the feature of sensibility, stability and performance.

Benefits
Monitor the detection zone for occupancy. When a person walks by then the detector automatically switches on the lights and switches off when no motion is detected.
Built in daylight sensor keeps the lights off if sufficient natural light is available.
Fully programming of hold time, lux level, detection range and sensitivity.
- Choice of dimming & signal protocol controls, like 0-10V, Dali , Zhaga Book18, Plug & Play, Tuya Smart Home IOT (WIFI, RF Wireless, ZIGBEE and Bluetooth), KNX, Casambi, KNX, Matter-compatible Lighting Solution, LoRaWAN etc.
Concealed mounting insides luminaires , which doesn’t change aesthetic appearance.
- Versalite application as it’s not influenced by ambient high temperature.

OEM/ODM Solution
Microwave motion sensors, different with other products, require a strong compatibility with the lighting fixtures to optimalize the function, including size, structure and software logic etc. If you couldn’t find suitable microwave sensor from our OEM product line, we’d love to cooperate with you and provide customization service. Made to order in all sizes and functions, you can get the perfect fit for every project.
In conjuction with brand manufacturers and distributors of LED lighting since our foundation, the R&D engineers with extensive ODM experience ensure the customized microwave sensors will become an integral component of your luminaires, setting your lighting fixtures apart from others. The entire development process can be completed within a timeframe of 7 to 14 days.
Smart Microwave Motion Sensor
Human presence detection technology, also called human body static existence induction detection microwave sensor.
It’s a 24Ghz intelligent high frequency sensing technology, which can detect the tiniest human movements and static presence, even breathing and heartbeat. It will automatically activate the lights when you need it, and switch off the lights when you leave. Meanwhile, the anti-interference algorithm can effectively avoid the airflow interference from the air conditioning and the exhaust fans.
This is useful in a variety of smart home applications, including smart lighting, smart thermostats, security and other building intelligent BMS systems.
Daylight harvesting, also called constant lux. The daylight harvesting function is to save energy by achieving a specific constant lux while taking natural light into account.

Master/slave group control, also called corridor function.
Suppose one luminaire is a Master and the others are Slave. In this case, the Master luminaire will be equipped with microwave motion sensor, but the Slave luminaire won’t have a sensor. A sensor connected to the Master luminaire will control both the Master itself and all Slave luminaires connected to it at the same time. When the master luminaire detects the motion from any direction and switchs on, the slave luminaires in one group will be triggered simultaneously.
1. With sufficient natural light, the light doesn’t switch on when the presence detected.
2. When insufficient natural light, the person comes form any direction, the group of luminaries switch on simultaneously.
3. After hold time, the whole group of luminaries switch off automatically.

3 Step Dimming Control, also called tri level dimming control, which is adjusted by 0-10V analog output to produce light at varying intensity levels.
- With sufficient ambient light, the light won’t be switched on.
- With insufficient ambient light, the sensor switches on the light when motion is detected.
- After elapse of hold time, the sensor dims the light at a low light level if no new motion is detected.
- After elapse of standby period, the sensor switches off the light if no motion is detected.

Daylight priority, also called dawn/dusk function. It is subject to the defined daylight threshold. At dawn, the light switches off. At dusk, the light switches on.

Swarm Intelligence also called RF wireless mesh control. It’s the ability of group lighting control to communicate with each others wirelessly with daylight priority and presence detection. Such investments prove to be rewarding particularly with underground garage.
- With sufficient natural light, the light doesn’t switch on when the presence de
- When insufficient natural light, the car comes form the directionA or Z, the sensor will send RF signal to all grouped sensors and theluminaries switch on synchronously.
- After hold time, the whole group of luminariesswitch off automaticallyif no further movement detected.
